Steve is a professionally trained and qualified librarian who has a background of working in the NHS. A large part of his role included training health professionals on how to use electronic resources such as medical databases and e-journals.
He soon discovered a passion for education, and went on to gain a Level 3 Award in Education and Training. This, coupled with his love of IT, led him into Microsoft training, with a focus on providing SharePoint Site Owner training to individuals and to small groups.
Steve is a patient and flexible trainer, and he endeavours to create a relaxed and welcoming environment where people feel at ease, and comfortable to ask any and all questions they may have.
He has found through experience that people have diverse needs and different learning styles, and works hard to tailor his sessions accordingly as everyone learns differently. This enables trainees to get the most out of the sessions, and go forward with the confidence to implement what they’ve learnt.
