Lisa Read is a highly regarded trainer within education. She has a passion for making a difference to people’s lives which is why she loves helping people to make the best use of IT with The IT Trainer. Lisa is educated to post-degree level and holds qualified teacher status from Sheffield Hallam University. She is also a qualified confidence coach and NLP practitioner, using these skills to enhance the lives of educators, families and young people.
Lisa holds the European Computer Driving License and has taught IT within schools over the past few years. As an avid user of Outlook, she recognises just how useful it can be to fully understand and use the program to maximise efficiency. The coaching work Lisa does enables her to be a patient and supportive trainer who brings out the best in the people she works with. Her aim is to ensure that anyone that has IT training with her will leave feeling very confident in their new skills, having saved hours of time and frustration.
In her spare time Lisa is often found working out at the gym, gardening, cooking or hill walking. She has three children and loves being with them and looking after the extended family of guinea pigs and chickens. Lisa cares greatly about environmental issues and improving the lives of future generations. She is taking a leading role in bringing a self-esteem boosting program for teenagers ‘Girls Out Loud’ into Sheffield and recently sky-dived to raise much needed funds for Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline.
